How big is your move?
The quote form asks for the closest size, and we fine-tune it with you on the call. As a rough guide:
- Studio or 1 bedroom: about one truck load
- 2 bedrooms: one to two truck loads
- 3 bedrooms: about two truck loads
- 4+ bedrooms: a large home, planned with you on the call
- Just a few items: a single piece or two (see furniture & specialty moving)

When we call, tell us about stairs, elevators, how far the truck can park from the door and anything heavy or fragile. That's how we send the right crew and gear, and how we lock in a price on the call with no hidden fees.
Getting your home ready for moving day
- Book early if you can. The end of the month and weekends fill up first, because that's when most leases turn over.
- Measure big pieces (sofas, wardrobes, fridges) against the doorways, stairwells and elevators at the new place.
- Keep documents, medications, valuables, keys and chargers with you instead of on the truck.
- Empty and defrost the fridge and freezer the day before.
- Set aside anything that isn't coming, so it doesn't get packed by mistake.
- In a condo or apartment, book the elevator at both buildings (see condo & apartment moving).

How do you price a home move?
It depends on how much you're moving, how far it's going, the access at both homes (stairs, elevators, long carries) and the date. We go through it together on the call and lock in your price. No hidden fees, ever.
Do I have to pack everything myself?
No. You can pack yourself and leave the heavy lifting to us, or add our packing services and we'll pack it for you. Either way, furniture is wrapped before it goes on the truck.
Can you move us on a weekend or a holiday?
Yes. We work same-day, next-day, weekends and holidays. Tell us your date when we call and we'll confirm the slot.
Do you only move homes in Vancouver?
No. We move homes across Metro Vancouver and anywhere in British Columbia (long-distance moving), and to other provinces with interprovincial moving.
