Moving one item or a few
A single-item move is still a real move: the piece has to come out of one building and into another without damage to it, the walls or the floors. The details that matter are the same as a full move, just fewer of them:
- What the item is and roughly how big it is
- Pickup and drop-off (a neighbourhood or postal code is plenty to start)
- Floors, stairs and elevators at both ends
- The doorways, stairwells and elevators it has to fit through at the new place
Antiques, art and heirlooms
Old furniture has loose joints, glass and veneer that don't forgive a bump. Art has corners and frames. Tell us on the call what's fragile and what matters most to you, and we plan the wrapping, the loading order and the placement around it.
To help on the day: empty drawers, take out removable glass shelves, and keep small precious pieces (jewellery, documents, keepsakes) with you.
Pianos

How do you protect antiques and art?
Every piece is wrapped before it's loaded and placed where you want it at the other end. Tell us about anything fragile or valuable on the call, so it's planned for.
Can you bring furniture up the stairs or into a condo?
Yes. Tell us about the stairs, the elevator and any tight turns when we call, so we send the right crew and gear. In a condo, book the elevator with your strata first.
Do you move furniture outside Vancouver?
Yes. We move across British Columbia and to other provinces. Tell us the piece and the route on the call.
