How do I get a quote?

Is the quote free?
Yes. Quotes are free.
What affects the price of a move?
How much you're moving, how far it's going, the access at both ends (stairs, elevators, long carries, parking), the date, and extras like packing. We go through it all on the call and lock in the best price.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees, ever. Your price is agreed and locked in on the call.
Booking and scheduling
How quickly will you call me back?
We call within minutes during business hours. After hours, pick a time in the last step of the quote form and we'll call you then.
Can I book a move on short notice?
Often, yes. We do same-day and next-day moves when the schedule allows; see last-minute moving.
Do you move on weekends and holidays?
Yes. Same-day, next-day, weekends and holidays: we work when you need us.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for the end of the month and weekends, which fill up first. If your date is close, call anyway.
Moving day
Do I need to book my building's elevator?
If you're in a condo or apartment, yes, and usually at both buildings. The resident or owner books it through the strata or property manager. Tell us the times and we'll plan around them; see condo & apartment moving.
Where will the moving truck park?
As close to the door as is legal: a driveway, a loading bay or the street. In the City of Vancouver you can reserve curb space with a temporary street occupancy permit.
What should I keep with me on moving day?
Documents, medications, jewellery, keys, chargers and anything irreplaceable. Keep them in a bag that travels with you, not on the truck.
What can't go on the truck?
Flammable and hazardous items like propane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner and ammunition. Set them aside and ask us if you're unsure about anything.

Do you offer packing?
Yes. Add packing services to any move and we'll pack and wrap it for you.
Do you move pianos, antiques and art?

Do you move offices and stores?
