West Vancouver movers for homes on the hill and by the water
West Vancouver moves come with their own terrain: steep streets and long driveways in the British Properties and Caulfeild, waterfront condos in Ambleside and Dundarave, and large homes with a lot to pack. Shiraz Moving Co. plans for all of it before moving day.
We move families across West Van, over the Lions Gate into Vancouver, and anywhere in BC and Canada.
Moving in West Vancouver: what we plan for
- Hillside neighbourhoods like the British Properties, Cypress Park, Chartwell and Caulfeild often mean steep driveways, long carries from the truck and a lot of stairs.
- Ambleside and Dundarave condo buildings have elevator bookings and set move times.
- Larger homes take longer to pack, and packing services can take that off your list.
- Moves into Vancouver cross the Lions Gate Bridge through Stanley Park, so the time of day matters.
- Horseshoe Bay is the terminal for BC Ferries sailings to Nanaimo, Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast.

Moving services in West Vancouver
Moving in West Vancouver: common questions
Can you handle steep driveways in West Vancouver?
Tell us about the driveway, the stairs and how far the truck can park from the door when we call. Steep access changes the crew and gear a move needs, so we plan it up front.
Do you move West Vancouver condos?
Yes. Condo moves in Ambleside, Dundarave and across West Van are planned around the elevator booking; see condo & apartment moving.
Can you move us from West Vancouver to Whistler or Vancouver Island?
Yes. Whistler is up the Sea-to-Sky from Horseshoe Bay, and Island moves travel by BC Ferries; see long-distance moving.
